Pros

Great money to be made if you work for it, plenty of freight, reliable shop & equipment. Weather pay is great too, especially during the winter.

Cons

Their planning can be a pain at times. They expect drivers to be work robots. home time is guaranteed if you run your 70, but they expect you to work as soon as your 34 is up. The begging of the week can be a dread, because the pre-plans I always get don’t align with how long I’ve already been awake. Another complaint is that some of the Walmarts that they service can take 15-30 minutes before they even start the unloading process. This is horrible because most of our loads are 2-4 stops. If you get a frozen dairy load be prepared to have pallets falling over due to the DC not stacking them correctly or using too little plastic wrap. Additionally, with all the loads we run to & through Denver I25, the traffic can really eat up your 14 hour clock. It’d be nice if we could run night time for these loads. Aside from that it’s a great gig, could use a jump in stop pay which is currently 15$ per stop. But for all the waiting we do as live unloads, most of the time it’s not worth it. 35$ per stop would be great.

Pros

Its what you make of it like any job. Pay is awesome sauce benefits are great. Generally speaking they get you home when you request it.

Cons

You will live in the truck. You will visit home. Home time is 1 for 6 which is better then industry average of 1 for 7, but still sucks- its trucking-lol
