Pros

Benefits are much better as compared to companies in competes it against for talent pool in the southeast. But they are very aveage against the aerospace and chemical side companies it competes against for talent nationally.

Cons

Current sr operations managerment has went away from employee feedback and teams to implement changes to work practices and policies. Things are now being driven down from the top instead of a collaborative effort across the teams affected. Key leaders at lower levels of the organization are leaving in mass leaving the direction of the business in chaos.

Pros

Used to be a good place to work and get a lot of hands on experience in diverse and complicated matters. Used to have top notch managers from whom you could learn and grow professionally.

Cons

There are only cons. Company decisions are being made by one or two individuals whose self serving actions are in direct conflict with the growth and long term viability of the company. Th IP portfolio has been intentionally mismanaged and squandered all so that the General Counsel (GP) can cater to his own pathological insecurities. Long time competent individuals were let go and replaced with brand new in some cases in competent individuals who would not challenge the GP s ego. One of the individuals in charge of IP had her position eliminated after working there close to 7.5 years all with positive reviews while she was in the middle of a cancer battle. She was offered nothing more than the 2 months severance due her as per company policy and went from making almost $200k per year to $500 per week unemployment while she was 2.5 years into a cancer battle. That this was permitted to happen was a disgrace. Furthermore this was not the only competent individual whose position was eliminated thus leaving the IP portfolio in dissaray.
