Pros

Steady paychecks are nothing to sneeze at.

Cons

Jeff Haller, the founder and CEO of DataServ, is the final word in micromanagement. Ultimately, my time here benefited me with a steady paycheck, the usual FTE benefits, and nothing else.

Pros

The *PEOPLE* there are amazing and wonderful to work with

Cons

Everything else. The leadership is pathetic and was never sure on how to do anything as the people who had that knowledge left. There is never any good feedback on any work you do and the metrics are completely arbitrary and change at the drop of a hat. Pay on the extreme lower end for the type of work they wanted Completely unorganized Never room for growth Completely trash training that was never up to date

DataServ (Missouri) Response

Thank you for your response. At DataServ, we’re fortunate to have an incredible team, and we’re always exploring new ways to grow and improve. As a SaaS company, agility is key, and we integrate Agile development across all our teams. Part of this process is regularly reassessing our priorities and making adjustments when market conditions or new opportunities arise. We understand that some individuals are more adaptable than others, and we hope you've found an environment better suited to your strengths. Regarding compensation and responsibilities, we review our pay structure annually, benchmarking it against market trends and ensuring internal equity. We also encourage our employees to stretch their skills in their current roles, viewing this as a chance for personal development and preparation for future opportunities or promotions within DataServ. Additionally, we are always seeking new training opportunities to help everyone improve and grow. Managers and their direct reports have weekly 1:1's, where feedback is given and employees have the chance to ask for help and share any thoughts they might have. We also have bi-annual reviews for a more formal opportunity for feedback. While we regret that our professional relationship didn’t work out, we sincerely wish you the best in your career moving forward.
