Pros
good for students as a temp job while studying. Mostly flexible shifts and depending on your manager you can tailor the shifts to your needs (within reason)
Cons
everything. Management treats part time staff like workers, they have no appreciation for for an employee, you're just meat, easily replaceable. If you're part time you don't deserve anything, no training, no support, nothing. And your performance is constantly being compared to full time staff. In other words, you have to graft twice as hard just because you work less hours
