Company motto is overpromise and underdeliver - Anonymous employee Designlab Employee Review

Founders have absolutely no idea what they're doing at this point. They've ignored their core product which contributes to the bulk of their revenue. Most who are contributing to the product/curriculum have little to no design experience or background. They ignore feedback from students (their customers) and those who have ACTUAL design industry knowledge and experience on the team. CEO panders to students who complain the loudest but don't actually represent the majority. They push for "radical transparency" but they push anyone out who tries to voice an opinion or concern. They've lied about the state of the company multiple times where it has cost team members other opportunities. Anyone who has been pushed out or has left in the previous year has mainly been all women and POCs. The culture has become extremely isolating and toxic, very much like what you'd expect from a traditional corporate company.
