Pros

I can honestly say it is a place where people and professional growth are valued. Management is open to communication, and the processes are organized in a way that helps everyone work efficiently and develop their skills. The company works with interesting projects and modern technologies, so you constantly gain valuable experience and opportunities to grow. Another big advantage is the flexibility, healthy work-life balance, and respect for employees’ personal time. I haven’t worked at the company for a while now, but I still really miss the people and the atmosphere there

Cons

The only minor downside is that, due to the company’s rapid growth, some internal processes are still being optimized from time to time

Pros

Been here for about 9 months now as a React developer and honestly it’s a pretty solid place to work. The frontend stack is super modern we use React with TypeScript and Next.js for all the newer projects which is awesome for career growth. The dev team in Chicago is super chill and always down to help out when you get stuck on a weird bug. Hybrid policy is also very flexible, nobody is micromanaging your office days as long as the tickets are moving. Pay and health benefits are good for the Chicago market.

Cons

Because the platform is scaling so fast some of the legacy components are a real pain to work with, especially some messy global state management in the older repos. Sprint planning can also feel a bit rushed sometimes and product managers occasionally change requirements mid-sprint which is pretty frustrating for the timeline. Internal documentation for our UI library is also kind of outdated.

Pros

Started here as a junior python dev and the learning curve has been amazing so far. The engineering team is really supportive and the senior devs actually try to take time to explain things when you get stuck. We work with a modern stack (mostly Django, PostgreSQL and AWS) so I feel like I'm learning skills that are actually relevant for my career. The Chicago office has a great setup and the hybrid policy is super flexible which is a huge plus. Solid entry-level pay and benefits for the Midwest market too.

Cons

Onboarding was a bit overwhelming at first because the internal documentation is pretty scattered across different Confluence pages and some of it is outdated. Also because the sprint cycles are so fast, senior developers are often slammed with their own tasks or production fires. It can sometimes take a while to get your pull requests reviewed, so you really have to be proactive and comfortable pushing people for feedback.
