Pros

I've been working at the company for about a year as a Mid Java Developer, and so far I'm happy with my decision. I joined a team with a friendly atmosphere, where I can count on help from more experienced people, but also have a lot of independence. The work model is a hybrid, which is a big plus for me – I can work from home and meet with the team in the office (on selected days). My daily work primarily involves Java, Git, Docker, and Jira. We work with Scrum, so communication and workflow are transparent. The team is open, and the atmosphere fosters knowledge exchange. I also appreciate that I can have a real impact on the solutions implemented in the project.

Cons

As for the downsides, as with most IT companies, there are periods of increased workload and tight deadlines. Sometimes processes could be a bit simpler, and business decisions could be made more quickly, but these aren't things that significantly impact work comfort. At the moment, I'm not considering changing jobs. I have the opportunity to develop myself, I work with competent people, and I feel comfortable in my current team. If the company maintains its current direction, I'd happily stay here longer.

Pros

I've been working at DevsData as a DevOps Engineer for about three months and have had positive experiences so far. The work is a hybrid model, which is a big plus for me – I can maintain a balance between working from home and meeting in the office. My day-to-day responsibilities include infrastructure maintenance and development, CI/CD process automation, environment monitoring, and supporting development teams with application deployment and maintenance. The projects are interesting and allow for technological development, especially for those interested in the cloud, containerization, and automation. Among the advantages, I would especially mention the good atmosphere within the team, the high degree of autonomy, and the opportunity to acquire new skills. Communication is efficient, and I can count on help from others when needed.

Cons

On the downside, there are occasional busy periods related to implementations or urgent production tasks, which can cause priorities to shift quickly. As with many technology companies, there are also occasional challenges related to coordinating work across different teams.

Pros

I've been working as an HR Specialist at an IT recruitment company for about six months, and I have to admit, it's been a truly rewarding experience. The biggest plus for me is the contact with people and the opportunity to meet many IT professionals. Every recruitment process is a little different, so there's no time for boredom. On a daily basis, I primarily use LinkedIn to search for candidates, the ATS system to manage recruitment processes, Microsoft Teams for communication, and Excel and various reporting tools. Interviewing candidates and collaborating with hiring managers also take up a lot of my time. The ability to work remotely is a huge advantage, making it easier to maintain a work-life balance. Furthermore, the team atmosphere is very friendly – you can count on the support of colleagues, the exchange of experiences, and simply good energy every day. A modern approach to work and great flexibility are also common in the IT industry.

Cons

On the downside, the biggest challenge can be the pressure of meeting recruitment goals and deadlines. It can sometimes be difficult to find suitable candidates for highly specialized positions, and the process can drag on for weeks. There are also situations where candidates drop out at the last stage or accept a competitor's offer, which can be frustrating. You also need to be able to manage a large number of messages, meetings, and simultaneous projects.
