Pros
The only pro is the remote work.
Cons
Unfortunately, I did not check Glassdoor before joining. Afterward, I found numerous reviews describing the company's culture and management issues, and they matched my experience almost exactly. Poor management, excessive micromanagement, and frequent overtime created a stressful work environment. Promotions and recognition often appeared to be driven by favoritism and personal connections rather than performance or technical merit. Employees with influence seemed to advance their own circles, making career growth feel inconsistent and unfair. The project suffered from weak leadership and poor decision-making. The manager lacked the experience and skills required to effectively lead the team, resulting in confusion, missed expectations, and unnecessary pressure on engineers. Rather than providing direction and taking ownership, responsibilities were often pushed onto team members, and an unhealthy competitive environment was encouraged between colleagues instead of collaboration and teamwork. In several years of my professional career, this has been my worst work experience and the worst company I have worked for.
