Pros

Maybe the only one is collaborating with exceptional teams around the world, reasonable compensation package and good collaboration among peers.

Cons

There’s a complete disconnection between global management and local markets necessities, as well as contractual conditions for employees hired in a global position, this leads to a high number of inconsistencies such as denying compensation benefits stated in a local contract for considering them “excessive”, or worst, having the final word when laying off an employee despite positive feedback from Country Managers and Heads. It is very disappointing to know afterwards that despite lay offs can be justified as re-organizations or because of other necessities, and inside the teams tell another story related to inconsistent and inexistent objectives when performance wasn’t the reason for a layoff (which was my case).

We are so sorry to hear you had this experience here. It is very important for us to make sure that all our team members have a great and fair experience. We have installed a global HR team to solve for discrepancies between local/ global practices that occurred over time whilst going through fast growth. We have also recently hired a Head of Total Rewards to help us further develop this area.
