      Pros

      Domtar pays an amazing hourly wage even at entry level. They have great benefits including a decent health plan and retirement options.

      Cons

      The environment is very hot and the work never slows down. Although safety is the word on everyone's lips it seems to be just that. An empty word. The departments are run by the most senior hourly wage earners rather than management, therefor the mill retains an "old school" mentality of get it done fast and now unless management is watching.

      Pros

      You support a local site. Good rapport with other departments and hourly makes the job great.

      Cons

      Company merger. Domtar was the gold standard between the 3 companies. Now, Resolute seems to make all the decisions despite being the farthest behind in IT.
