    Pros

    Not much pros besides that my team was close, but our morale was so low. I feel bad for my ex co-workers who are still there, because I know things are not getting better since I left.

    Cons

    -My team has been short staffed ever since I started. There is also high turnover with this team, because we are all burnt out and overworked. All the good people are gone. I feel like each of us were doing the work of 2-3 people, so it does not give us time for professional development, growth, innovation projects. Processes can be simplified and changed, but it still does not solve the headcount problem. There was always openings for other departments, because they also need support...but never for our team. I never understood that. -I also feel like my team never had a voice, whether it is us expressing our need for additional headcount or giving our recommendations on innovative products. Even though we each "own" our categories, we still could not make our own decisions. -Weak leadership, our team did not have clear direction nor did upper management really understood how processes ran or have knowledge. -Weak culture, maybe it's the Seattle freeze? Cross-functional partners seemed like they did not want to get to know others, no outside socializing even pre-Covid. -Benefits - I think the benefits are okay, not great. With the recent acquisition, there is no 401k match (though this may come back). We were able to get a bonus and a very small raise this past year.
