Pros

- Good benefits package and fair compensation - Latitude in what you're allowed to do - Many of the employees are top level talent - Great facilities

Cons

- Impossible to comprehend review process (PMP) that pretty much means you are always going to under-perform - No well defined career progression - Sometimes their is meeting overload (I suppose all large companies are like this) - Too much lower level management

Pros

Location...Houston, and majors cities in the US, as well as district and area offices along the various pipeline locations. Good industry reputation with other companies. Professes to be good stewards of properties and good neighbors within the various communities. Excellent knowledge base in senior employees. Excellent industry to be at this time...natural gas for energy when the world is concerned about clean air and global climate change.

Cons

Senior and upper management not visible enough to the rank and file. Exposure is prepared video clips and press releases. General fear by management of controversy from addressing groups. Layoffs and cutbacks in the name of efficiency every five six years. Unable to attract and groom the best prospects for performance and career training. Lack of encouragement to have employees show initiative. High debt impacting cash flow and stock prices for a very viable and stable industry.
