Pros

Being at the corporate office, you get to meet a variety of people on different teams. Everyone is friendly and willing to help you out if you have questions or just want to chat. I don't feel cramped at my desk, even if I work in a cubicle. I highly recommend coming to Evergreen Home Loans!

Cons

No cons, so far so good!

Pros

Most everyone is super friendly and helpful and I think the overall company values have it right and Don has built something good.

Cons

I was brought in shortly after my LO already started and we were more used to deals that we would take to other lenders, which is what we planned to do but he lost several large deals due to the legal department taking several weeks to review an application to submit to any outside lender and he moved on to another company but I stayed. I had worked previously with a Mortgage Broker shop and EHL is set up is a different since they are a lender but can also outsource. When I came on board, I had never used Encompass prior and I had several IT issues and it really hindered my time and training took longer than it should have. The biggest issue for me is when I told them I was going through unexpected scary health issues I was told I was in the best place and I couldn’t have been with a more understanding company and we would get through it, but then I was let go. Not the best time to unemployed and uninsured.
