Pros
Decent pay, good benefits
Cons
The culture is horrible. Management is more concerned with micro managing each job than solving institutional problems. Employees opinions and solutions are not welcome, and management doesn’t care about employees happiness or morale.

This is the most political place I have ever worked. The company was formed by the merger of several companies. One of them took power and everyone who came up in that company is part of the good old boys club. Everyone else is not. You will not be part of the club.
Their best people are leaving and what is left is the dregs and the "club". Electric and gas are being constrained more and more every year by new regulations and decreased profits. Each year the work culture is due more with less and there are fewer and fewer opportunities. I imagine they are going to keep cutting corners and firing people until they have a major accident, and then look around in surprise.
