      Pros

      Focused on the core business of equity research, not as an afterthought or simply (only) to win banking business. Good people, performance-oriented. Management have navigated MIFID-2 well. Not afraid to make very tough decisions regarding more senior people in the organisation.

      Cons

      For more junior analysts, there isn't the structured training on some aspects that you may get at a more 'factory-like' big bank. Too focused on Extel rankings in recruiting. Not afraid to make very tough decisions regarding more senior people in the organisation...
