No real direction, and bad communication between teams - especially when those teams are spread across multiple continents and time zones.
Leadership is a joke. They preach transparency, but there's a reason we all joked about "the shadow organization that actually runs fandom". The CEO talks fast and tries to sell great ideas -- in reality is just a talking head. The CTO is intelligent, but he is definitely a "boss" and not a "leader".
Money management by leadership is incredibly shady. You can afford to build out an immaculate new office in CA (where all the upper level people are), but layoff office manager roles in other offices because there isn't any money.
Don't even get me started on the HR exec leaving to start her own company... with the first client being Fandom. Shady stuff.
