Pros

Really high quality of talent comes through the door—some of the best in the business. A great portfolio is usually showcased. Some people were an absolute pleasure to work with. Competitive benefits. Option to be remote. Clients were mostly high profile, usually with access to very sr leadership. You can generally leave with a strong portfolio.

Cons

High-turn over. The amazing talent that comes in, leaves just as quickly. Titles, roles and expectations are really messy. You will find very strong talent with low titles, as well as under-skilled talent with big titles. There is almost no Junior or Mid-level talent. It leads to very Sr/Lead/Director talent doing junior or mid-level work, in part because they have no support. Talent is sold a vision for their role only for it to get drown out quickly. Remote is great but it can also lead to disconnection and a lack of empathy. Sadly, leadership can be catty and there's definitely favorites—they are the ones who stuck around for several years.

Pros

Fantasy has a strong client list and consistently exciting projects. You’re surrounded by talented designers, which pushes you to grow and experiment constantly. The salary is very competitive, and it’s a great place for young, ambitious creatives who want to accelerate fast. CEO is very supportive.

Cons

The competitive atmosphere can be intense and sometimes draining. Many projects remain in concept phase and never see the light of day, which can feel frustrating. Probably not the best fit for senior designers looking for a stable, lean-back work environment.
