Pros
The problem elements of this company have been jettisoned, and we have funding. Now we can focus on the actual vision of the company instead of slamming a square peg into a round hole in Atlanta. We have an opportunity to completely change the world, we just need to grab it.
Cons
Having to answer for sins of the past, or reading reviews of people who were let go because they were lazy and contributed nothing, or wasting resources keeping around stuff that didn't fit the strategy sucked. Fortunately, all of these things are in our rear view mirror.
