Pros

One of the few high tech companies in the East Bay. Decent pay and benefits, however these are slowly being taken away due to the company not being profitable. Still some very good folks working there.

Cons

Poor management - they do not value long term employees and the skills they bring. Company has not been profitable for several years and it is an impact on company morale. There have been about 7 or 8 layoff's in the past 5 years. Jobs are not very secure as the company is always restructuring. Overtime is only paid after 10 hours for manufacturing personnel. Very poor engineering support of the manufacturing line.

Pros

Great people Good work-life balance, on the production team at least Fairly competitive pay structure for advanced roles if compared with companies in the valley Reasonable performance expectations

Cons

Boneheaded senior management. Director level and below are down to earth and capable of executing, but senior management all brought in from other companies in the last year or two are determined to fail while having feel-good company-wide chats about inclusion instead of building a realistic roadmap. Pay is also very much NOT competitive for labor employees, or for advanced roles when compared with any company just 20 miles east or south.
