13 years and was stuck because I made revenue. - Senior Training Specialist GP Strategies Employee Review

Pros

Some seasoned middle management actually care. PTO accumulated at a decent rate. Acknowledgement of individual efforts was nice.

Cons

Lower management in my BU used the "warm body" method of hiring new instructors. "Merit wage increases" were an average of 2% to 4%. Last time I checked that is barely a cost of living increase. If you perform well, plan on staying stuck in the same role since you generate revenue in that role. No lateral communication between BUs.

Pros

Great studio Nice workflow by the time the work came to us , we were left to create the video...with minimal interference gave a lot of new college grads a chance to work and create Subject matter experts (Dave and Greg) were always ready to answer technical questions...if they did not know the answer would find out Adam Stedman (then CEO) told me I was "intimidating" so that was fun I am usually called "nice...or a hard worker"

Cons

Covid turned WFH into PTO for some full timers (GP and Client) video training lost steam company purchased by a large holding company "this is going to be great"...they say then the cuts came client closed the studio we were collateral damage it was a fun gig stars below reflect part time no bennies so I could not score higher work/life video production is any 7 any hour it is what it is
