Pros

- Impactful work - Pension, 401k - People are nice and pleasant - Very slowly getting better at things that should be a no-brainer like baby leave

Cons

- Culture of older men - No clear way to move up, you have to make steps yourself because your leadership won't move you along - It is a harder place for a woman to work than a man due to culture, pregnancy/leave benefits, how they're paid/promoted - Although hybrid is offered, the company and its leadership is clearly against work from home, managers can deem you need to be in the office more than advertised by the company

Pros

9/80 schedule, subsidized cafeterias, work-life balance, people that care deeply about their work and the product they make

Cons

Did have a 2-day in office hybrid schedule option that was supervisor-dependent. Company president said on a town hall that the schedule would not be changing- the next day his office puts out a policy that all employees are to be back in office by Jun 1 with an option to work from home 1-day a week. When asked about the impact of higher gas prices, the president of the company did not look phased or even aware that rising gas prices are affecting lower-level employees. The company is located in one of the most expensive parts of the nation.
