Pros
At the time - a pension, no more pensions. Flex time - when they let you use it. Decent pay.
Cons
I had 40 years service when I was laid off while they were hiring younger employees. Management thinks experience is over rated and if you have a "procedure" a monkey can do any job. Nepotism is rampant. Quality and Ethics are just posters on the wall.
