Pros
Friendly place to work with good management. People are always there when you need help on a problem. Good place for resources.
Cons
Machinists are over paid and engineers are under paid. Machinists are never let go and engineers run the risk of being fired from even the littlest things depending on who you report too. We had a machinist break a 5 figure piece of a machine and not even get in trouble. Engineers end up working 50-60+ hours and get paid for 40. Machinists work 40-60 and get paid OT. Engineers have more room to grow but you have to work non stop to be able to move up in the company.
