Pros

The mission of the company is a great one..well!!! at least on paper.

Cons

They are currently facing the worst of both worlds (no longer a startup but still REALLY disorganized without the big company pay or perks) rapid turnover people drop out of the company left and right, so many good talented folks have left. - The company promotes work-life balance, but you get pressure to be online and available at all times - yes! even while you're on approved vacation. Management does not care about individual contributors - The company does not embrace differences in people, no diversity in any of the 4 offices - worse diversity representation I have ever experienced within my 15 years of experience working in tech. The company “encourages difference of opinions,” but when you have a different opinion, you are told no, this is what’s best for the team - so what’s the point?

We really appreciate you taking the time to provide feedback. Work/life balance is really important at Granular; we offer many ways for people to take the time they need including things like “Recharge Wednesdays” where all of our offices close at 2 pm every Wednesday. We check in with people in all many ways to make sure they feel supported and have manageable workloads. Our team is not as diverse as we would like; we are committed along with the rest of Corteva to changing this. We have several initiatives in place to address this and are starting to see some encouraging results but are clear that our work here is not done. Pros

The pros are that the people you work with on a day-to-day basis are incredible, caring, positive, and will do their best to motivate you in any way.

Cons

The cons were that leadership was difficult to pin down, change management with M&A made things impossible to predict, and expectations were not clearly stated.
