Pros

Remote-first work policy is nice if you want that and there are definitely a lot of nice and smart people at the company. For the most part, I enjoyed my time at Greenshades - no workplace is perfect - but some improvements are needed.

Cons

The company has done a full 180 in under a year. It went from a messy, “family‑centric” place with little real strategy, bad employees hanging on forever, and little forward motion… to a more organized, growth‑at‑all‑costs machine where humanity doesn’t factor into decisions at all. I get what the new leadership is trying to do, but the way they operate feels arrogant. They don’t listen, they make empty promises to employees, partners, and clients, and there’s very little integrity behind the scenes. Everything comes down to “what can you do for us right now,” If you’re not willing to spend your personal time learning new AI tools and skills/vibe-coding, you’re basically written off. When a company “ruthlessly prioritizes” growth above employees, partners, and customers, it stops being a place people can trust.

Pros

Greenshades offers a great work-from-home environment, which has been huge for my family and overall work-life balance. The team is hungry, talented, and genuinely motivated to build something great. New leadership has brought a strong, clear vision for where the company is headed, and they’re backing that vision with the technology, tools, and resources teams need to succeed. They’ve also been refreshingly kind, approachable, and low-drama, even while having to make some difficult decisions. Having worked at larger companies where politics can get in the way, I’ve really appreciated that the focus here is on configuring the company for the most meaningful growth possible.

Cons

The company is in the middle of a meaningful shift from “this is how we’ve always done it” to a more innovative, ambitious, and self-disruptive mindset. That kind of change naturally comes with some growing pains, but overall, it feels like a good problem to have. There are also some areas where more structure and process are still needed. The encouraging part is that teams are moving quickly to put that blocking and tackling in place, and there’s a real opportunity to help shape those systems as they’re being built.

Pros

Your immediate coworkers are great to work with. You get to work from home.

Cons

Management at this company does not like to employ or pay humans. They prefer to force AI in every possible situation due to the new CEO being incapable of making any decisions that do not come from a book or spoon fed to him by an AI. This focus on AI has turned every team into a skeleton crew, while our CEO and C-suite positions do absolutely nothing and profit. You will be overworked, overwhelmed, and under appreciated working here. The good reviews you read here recently come from our new management and absolutely do not reflect the current conditions of working at this company.
