Pros

- Competitive pay and benefits. - Some talented and supportive coworkers. - Good opportunity to learn if you enjoy a large corporate environment and structured processes.

Cons

* In my experience, the culture prioritized appearances over honest feedback. Employee engagement surveys felt heavily emphasized, and I felt there was pressure to submit highly positive responses rather than candid feedback. * Leadership felt very top-down. Open disagreement or differing opinions did not seem to be welcomed, and many decisions appeared to flow through a single executive. * The CHRO’s leadership style was, in my experience, demanding and intimidating. Meetings often involved being put on the spot, conversations could feel one-sided, and it was difficult to speak openly. * AI initiatives became a major organizational focus, sometimes to the point where they seemed to take priority over solving practical business challenges. It often felt like employees were expected to enthusiastically embrace every new AI initiative. * Promotions and recognition did not always appear to align with performance. It often seemed that employees who closely aligned themselves with senior leadership had more opportunities for advancement than those who consistently produced strong work but challenged ideas or kept their heads down. * Overall, the environment felt highly political and very focused on maintaining the company’s image.
