Pros

Nice campus and amenities, decent benefits, relatively good work/life balance, good starter company and resume builder, diverse group of employees and cultures

Cons

Witnessed lower level management bullying and intimidating employees in my PSL for the entire duration of my employment there. The company culture lacks substance and when I left there was very poor morale and the working environment was hostile under certain managers. Mid to senior management fails to address issues when brought to their attention and do not give their employees a voice. Very little opportunity to advance or get promoted if you come in at a entry level role. Not a good company for ambitious people looking to grow their career or millennials with a forward thinking mindset.

Pros

Great experience, especially if just starting out in oil and gas industry. Lots of industry-leading equipment/tech/etc.

Cons

If you can't handle long hours, harsh conditions (at times), and being away from home for long periods of time, this job isn't for you. My experience at Halliburton was also that many people feel like they're just a number in that management will make frequent (and often sweeping) changes to processes, workflows, engineering schedules, etc. Lots of bureaucratic hoops to jump through in order to advance through the three levels of Field Engineer before you can "break out" and really make good money.
