Pros
The only benefit to working here was the opportunity to work with some truly wonderful people. Unfortunately that made watching them be degraded and mistreated all the more difficult.
Cons
I was a part of the original staff in a new store. The initial setup and training of staff could not have been more disorganized. Little to no instruction was provided on operating the POS system, instead the entire focus was on building displays. Staff was hugely over scheduled during setup with part time staff being expected to put in 35+ hours (only to have most of these staff reduced to 4 hours a week once the doors were open) only to stand around and ego boost the managers. Three months in the management still couldn't get the staff schedule out before Saturday and then blamed staff for not being there on Sunday. Management would brag about making employees cry. I watched the Assistant Managers berated and embarrassed in front of part time staff on a regular basis. Three months in the management still didn't know how to do a refund. After yet another co-ordinator quit (all but two of the original six positions were refilled in 3 months, some more than once) management still couldn't see a problem.
