We take the opinions of all our employees seriously and want to be able to address your concerns and put things right. We also work hard to ensure that our managers are equipped with the tools needed to unlock their team’s potential and inspire motivation and development. In the last 12 months, we are delighted to have trained over 100 manager and leaders through our Managing and Leading with IMPACT programmes, which builds their skills and covers the day-to-day practicalities of management through workshops on giving feedback, emotional intelligence, coaching, effective management, and goal setting. We strongly value employee feedback and are delighted to empower employees to share their feedback with us through our engagement survey tool, Peakon, which gives everyone the opportunity to send suggestions directly to managers to support planning and prioritising workloads effectively. However, we know there is always more we can do and are committed to encouraging continuous feedback and engaging with employee’s comments. Through Peakon, managers have made over 46,000 comment interactions with employees, which enables both bottom-up and top-down communication. We’re delighted that you recognise our fantastic benefits on offer, we are very proud of our generous package available to UK employees, which includes our electric car scheme, Simplyhealth cashback plan, and discounted gym-memberships. We also offer flexible working patterns, including remote, hybrid, part-time and term-time working, which enables our employees to achieve a work-life balance that best suits their needs. To further promote work-life balance, we also encourage our UK employees to use their Giving Back Days, which are 3 fully paid days off work to support their local community and make a difference. Pros

I have been with Iris for approximately 5 months and have been incredibly impressed. The people I work with from my peers, leadership (including executive leadership) and my team, are amazing. Building relationships has been easy as most of the employees are open to it, are very collaborative and genuinely want to help! Iris is also focused on equality and ensure we all have a fair opportunity for growth. While we have a lot to do here, it is clear that we are valued.

Cons

As a rapidly growing organization, we have some growing pains and some foundational processes, systems and flow that need to be updated and/or adjusted, but nothing that won't be fixed over time.
