Pros
- Some of the best people I've ever met in my career worked here. And then they quickly left once they realized how bad the management was. - Inspiring message, very altruistic - Cutting edge technology - Yulun (founder) is a really nice, laid back guy - Easy location to get to - Decent benefits - Passionate co-workers - Good work/life balance
Cons
- Pay is AWFUL. Significantly under market value and raises are minimal. - Upper management is the Good 'Ol Boy Network. All men who knew each other in college/somewhere else and are incredibly bureaucratic. Most of them are unqualified for the position they are in IMHO. - Unmotivated and stressed out employees - Favoritism - some employees are allowed to work remote, others are not. Some employees get nice desk/computer setups, others don't. - The CEO does not care about you unless you're directly making him money. He calls people by the wrong name, he doesn't apologize and genuinely doesn't care about his people. Except sales - obviously. - Engineering is often overlooked, and sales is over-glorified.
