Pros

PERKS: -Lots of travel (could be a pro or con, depending on your approach). -Employees are trusted with company credit cards. -Kitchen is full of snacks and beverages. -Offices are modern and welcoming. -Yearly offsite conference is ritzy and lavish. CULTURE: -In-office celebrations like birthdays, bridal/baby showers and engagement get-togethers are fun and frequent if you have time to participate. -Lots of happy hours outside the office. -Group dinners occur after hours onsite during live events too. LEARNING / DEVELOPMENT: -Entry-level employees are given many opportunities to experience and learn. -All team members are welcome to explore new roles or take on more responsibility within their current roles. ACCESSIBILITY / TRANSPARENCY: -C-Suite and executives are willing to talk and listen (as is evident in their Glassdoor responses) -Monthly meetings provide a lot of intel on company revenue, profit, recent work and shifts in structure BONUSES / PROFIT-SHARING: -They exist.

Cons

QUALITY: -Work lacks genuinely innovative creative. -New business pitches and longstanding accounts are lost because of it. COMPENSATION -Challenging for young, talented employees to obtain timely promotion and and earn appropriate compensation. BENEFITS -High deductibles for medical care -Parental leave is disappointing for an agency that claims to support flexibility for working parents

InVision Communications Response

Thank you for feedback. We appreciate your honesty. We make it a priority to create an inclusive work culture, from hosting celebrations to keeping the lines of communication open between leadership and employees. It’s great to know you experienced this during your time here and we hope you found it valuable. We acknowledge your concerns around growth opportunities and compensation challenges, so we regularly benchmark our salaries to be competitive within our industry and work across the management team to create career paths for each department. As you mentioned, we highly encourage employees to explore other roles and gain new skillsets within their roles, which we hope is additive to their career. We are an industry leader in providing new and innovative solutions to our existing and longstanding wonderful clients. The team works hard everyday to bring new ideas to our clients even if they are not asking for them. We are also aware of challenges employees face with out of pocket healthcare costs and constantly evaluate new plan options. We try to balance employee needs both by office location and our own out of pocket costs to continue providing many options to select from including several HMO plans that InVision pays 100% coverage for all full-time staff, we also offer and fund HSA accounts, for those that choose a PPO plan and have tax free commuter and child care accounts. We also benchmark our coverage offering and we offer much better plans than the majority of our competition, not to mention our amazing 401K matching program. Historically, our best talent comes from word-of-mouth or personal references. Our recruitment process is focused on broadening our diversity and talent pool across multiple disciplines that would benefit our company and our clients. We have recently expanded and reorganized our resource management team to lead that charge.
