Pros
The best part of this job was the people. The members were friendly, and I was able to build many meaningful relationships throughout my time there.
The coworkers were also incredibly supportive and always willing to help when needed, which made the work environment enjoyable.
I also appreciated that this wasn't a typical desk job. Being able to move around, interact with members, and stay active throughout the day kept the work engaging and made each day go by quickly.
Cons
The biggest downside was the constant micromanagement, which made it difficult to feel trusted or work independently.
Career growth also felt very limited. Advancement opportunities often seemed to depend more on internal preferences than performance or experience, making it discouraging for employees looking to grow.
There was very little room for creativity or new ideas. The company appeared to prioritize initiatives with clear financial returns, while other suggestions received little consideration.
The compensation did not reflect the workload. MXAs are expected to take on significant responsibilities, yet the pay difference compared to MXMs is substantial, and raises were minimal.
Overall, this role is a good starting point for someone with little to no professional experience. However, I would not recommend it for those seeking long-term career growth or competitive compensation.
