Pros

There are a lot of negative reviews and anyone considering joining IAS please consider this company went from 6 people, to fun work hard/play hard start up, to acquisition, now to scaling and being best in the industry at optimization and verification in the digital media space. Every company has its challenges. As someone that has been at this company for over 10 years I have seen it all. There have been hard times, easy times, tough times you name it. The one constant at IAS is opportunity to work at a company that sees billions of transactions per day hitting every single area of the advertising technology spectrum. If you want opportunity this is the place to be. The new leadership team for the most part is two years or younger at IAS and they are goal driven and committed to excellence. They listen to problems and hold people accountable on solving those problems. That is how it is supposed to work. The CEO got in front of the company every single week throughout the pandemic and answered any and all questions that any employee asked. Every. Single. Week. She also does round table conversations working tirelessly to ensure everyone and anyone that wants to be heard is heard. There has never been a time in the history of this company where a leader was this committed to solving issues whether big or small. The new head of HR has prioritized both mental health and wellness, along with ensuring diversity and inclusion now has a true owner along with setting up various initiatives such as leadership training and coursework to improve the culture overall. She has exemplified consistency and priority on areas that were never on the table throughout the history of this company. Those that are giving really critical reviews of IAS are looking back at what it was instead of ahead. The company has changed a lot recently. FOR THE BETTER. I challenge anyone who is being critical of IAS on their way out or continuing to work in an environment no longer suitable to them to walk me through any company without issues or is not a business at the end of the day. Bottom line IAS has opportunity now more than ever with a fresh hard working leadership team driven to succeed. I look forward to the next few chapters ahead while continuing my journey at this amazing company.

Cons

- Very fast paced. - Complex technical products that if you do not take onboarding seriously it will stunt your growth and happiness - Adtech is a tough industry but if you love big data and complex products then its a perfect environment.

Pros

At this point, I have nothing good to say about this company.

Cons

When interviewing, I was asked straight up if "I was ready to work overtime and on weekends." I was told this was an expectation rather than a potential good effort. When I joined, I was tested vigorously after already getting the job. The tests were confusing and the answers were not obvious. The documentation was unreadable. This was after an application test and four rounds of interviews. When I worked as hard as possible, asked a weekly check-in call to keep my questions from being a problem, and worked late, I was told "I was working too hard" and that my work was below standard. When I got married, management told me that needing to take an appointment for my wedding was inconveniencing the business. I was fired while celebrating a religious holiday. No reason given. I had to beg to get the bonus that I earned as part of my severance package. After I was let go, my manager left the team entirely. The CEO and management pretends that they are kind people who support their workers. Unfortunately 90% of the company is clouded by anger issues, mired in personal attacks, and struggling with feedback that is unclear and conflicting. I am unclear how this company has gotten so many awards for diversity. I only saw minorities let go during my time at the company. The few people who are actually good at their job are fighting constantly to keep up with the environment. I'm shocked they even have a product that works given the company's disorganization and culture.
