Pros

- Booming industry - Periodic fun company outings - Meaningful work - Good place to learn using a "trial by fire" methodology - The CEO and CTO appear invested in the employees but the operational realities are the product of middle management

Cons

- You will be under payed - You will work more than 40 hours, often more than 50 (while not a con by itself and unsurprising in a growing company in a booming industry, but one's salary ought to reflect the effort) - Culture promotion seems contrived - Recognition is rare and ungenuine - Middle management (Director-/VP-level) operates in extremes -- micro-managing one day and then non-existent on the next - This is a "sales" company, not a "services" company, and the services workhorses certainly feel the pain created by this fact - While a training budget is allocated, there's no plan to support the employee and/or the clients while the employee actually attends the training; training "policy" is loose and undefined

Pros

Exposure to many different clients, softwares and IT environments. Flexible Hours Opportunities for promotion

Cons

Burnout sets in eventually due to the nature of the work and being an MSP. The daily work can blur together and you need some variety.

Pros

- Sales centric organization focused on regular change to remove barriers for Enterprise Account Managers - Open lines of communication with leadership, including executive leadership. Leaders from throughout the organization are open to assist with deals, and they are open to constructive feedback related to the sales process. - Unlike my experience working for a large corporate vendor, InteliSecure's size makes it so everyone in the organization is a stakeholder in your success. If you communicate what you need to be successful you will be heard. - Autonomy. You get what you put into your territory. Company expectations for the Enterprise Account Managers are clearly defined. If you have the right amount of output you never have to wonder where you stand with leadership. - Ongoing development and training - Fair quotas - Tenured and industry leading security services practice. InteliSecure retains some of the top info sec engineering talent in the industry. As a salesperson it is a huge differentiation when I go to battle. - Services only top vendors for DLP, SIEM, Gateway Security, Vulnerability Management. There are also a number of security assessments and consulting offerings. If you understand the value proposition for everything you can sell you will walk away from every meeting with a new sales opportunity.

Cons

- InteliSecure is not a household name. It takes concerted effort to get an initial meeting with a prospects. - Marketing maturity. InteliSecure needs a greater sense of urgency around production of relevant materials and publicity. Meaningful sponsorship and rich social media content are lacking. - There are a lot of solutions and services to navigate. Ramp up can be difficult if you've never worked in a services organization or with the products InteliSecure services.
