Pros

Team leads and lower level managers were very reasonable with work/life balance. If you pulled an all nighter, they never expected you to be at your desk the next day. Fantastic group of co-workers. Unlike a lot of comments, salary was decent enough. Flexible working hours and telecommuting.

Cons

The separation of teams into operation and engineering is something I have never experienced in 30 years of systems admin work. I felt it lead the operations side into a dead end career wise. The DXC outsourcing is not going well. A large proportion of the talented IT folks have all run for the exits.

Pros

The best benefits by far— comprehensive and easy to navigate and understand.

Cons

Policies and procedures have become detached, less human and much more “bottom line” than in previous years. My disability requests were denied and I haven’t been able to move up or even laterally to accommodate myself in this organization despite having my Bachelors and recent work samples due to the automation of hiring and how removed HR seems from managements goal to promote from within. They’re missing a lot of talent in front of them.
