Pros

Trying to think of any as I type this. -in charge of and make your own schedule, but beware, even this is a downside, with the cancellations you have you cant and won't meet productivity -constantly on the go and you aren't in one spot the entire time

Cons

Man, where do I even begin? I have tried to stick it out for as long as I can, but I can't handle it anymore !!! -the constant traveling gets to be too much especially when you're wasting time, energy, gas, and wear and tear on your car to only have clients blow you off, cancel, or refuse to meet with you -mileage reimbursement is a joke -it gets lonely out there by yourself -they're only concerned for the census and money not their staff or clients -the only opinion that matters, is there's -no 401k match -no direct deposit and people who live further away, drive a ways just to get their checks, funny, when I asked why all they could say was "they didn't know" or "we just don't" who says that? -no overtime -apparently they filed for bankruptcy in April 2014 -apparently you have to use PTO if you're not meeting 40 hours -unqualified management in positions they have no business being in -the management are bullies and if you don't do what they tell you, they write you up even after you've explained things are out of your control -no concern for safety of employees whatsoever -the amount of people who have left since I've been here: one supervisor and one co worker -the amount of people who have left shortly before I started: 4 -new CEO recently since the last one just last year -coworkers, supervisors, and clients alike will back stab you -no one knows what they're doing The best part? As I finished with a client one day, I was assaulted. In a dangerous area. They said it didn't happen during work hours so they couldn't do anything. i got absolutely no support whatsoever, not even time off to process and figure stuff out. No one asked me if I was okay, no one told me if there was a safety plan in place, and if there was, what happens, even when I asked. Someone from the company went to get a public police report but no one even told me anything. They have no concern or regard for employee safety. I clearly expressed I never EVER want to go back to the place, especially that area again. They didn't give care, they still sent me back there. And then had the nerve to flip it on me and claim they told me I didn't have to go back there. When I put in my notice, it wasn't even acknowledged until I asked them if they received it and said nothing other then they received it. I am so fed up, especially after the incident that happened and got no support whatsoever. It is time for me to go. I would never ever recommend this company to anyone. Beware and save yourself the trouble! There is no team work, culture, career opportunities, compensation, benefits, work or life balance whatsoever. Not worthy of even half a star.

Hello, Thank you for taking this time to write this review and I am sorry to hear about the challenges you have been facing lately. At Intrepid, we are committed to creating a safe, comfortable and collaborative environment for all our employees so I am disappointed to hear about some of your experiences. We value and consider all feedback and we’ll find ways to improve but I wanted to address a couple of your specific concerns here. First, with new leadership, as you know the organization has been going through quite a bit of changes. Our CEO is working hard to make an effort to seek feedback and has been on the road travelling to meet each and every branch in hopes to connect on a personal level with as many of our employees as possible. Second, we recognize the value of electronic payroll distribution and have started rolling out direct deposit. It is being implemented to each branch individually. Please be patient as we transition direct deposit to all 91 locations. Third, I agree wholeheartedly on your comment about employee recognition. Lately, we’ve been putting more emphasis than ever on ways we can recognize performance and your feedback is the perfect reminder how much that recognition matters. Stay tuned. And lastly, Intrepid is committed to continuously improving our leadership and management team. Human Resources is beginning to implement a new project to identify strengths and weaknesses of each member of the senior leadership team by conducting a 360° Performance Appraisal. The goal is to gather information about a person’s leadership skills from those who report to him/her, as well as, those who supervise him/her and other coworkers. Once the surveys have been completed, each leader will be asked to create a development plan for improving his/her leadership skills. At Intrepid, we are working diligently to improve the employee experience, earn the trust of staff, and further foster integrity throughout the organization. We take every opportunity to learn from all feedback as we continue to improve the experience for all our employees. I really do appreciate your feedback and hope you do give us a chance to make it right.
