Pros
- The team I was on was amazing, we all worked together not only to build a cool product, but also to learn from and make each other better. - Very healthy work/life balance - Co-workers and team-lead/managers who actually care and are excited about the product and the work they're doing, I think a rather rare and special trait. and no, dedication and excitement are not the same thing, but my team had both.
Cons
- Rather odd lack of empowered middle management for a company of this size, this has lead to a fairly significant chasm between engineers and upper management as there's no one to really bridge the gap - Compensation has not been keeping up with market rates - Lack of diversity in management/leadership level
