Pros
Fun environment for high school workers The job is not very serious, come to work, change oil, hang with co workers Good place to get some entry level experience They don't drug test
Cons
The pay is low for hood and courtesy techs. The only people that can afford to work for such little money are people with no education, druggies, and convicts and that is exactly what the team is comprised of. The higher management and owners treat the workers like crap. No respect and down talk The hood techs that are moved up to store or night manager only make like $20,000 a year which is barely higher than min. wage. The shifts are short except that you work 6 days a week. and on the weekends which are 9 and 7 hour days, there are no breaks or shift changes. So if you want to eat, do it in between servicing cars. The hiring process is a joke, they hire only friends and relatives. People with real experience are hardly considered.
