Good exposure to PowerBi knowledge and learning opportunities. Employees can also claim a significant amount of overtime (OT), which helps increase overall earnings.

Cons

The workplace culture can be highly political, with an excessive focus on hierarchy and personal advancement rather than teamwork and employee growth. In some cases, employee contributions are overlooked while credit is taken by politically driven individuals, leading to feelings of undervaluation and unfair treatment. There also appears to be favoritism within management, which makes it difficult to address unprofessional or politically motivated behavior. As a result, team conflicts are often left unresolved, affecting morale, collaboration, and trust, and potentially increasing employee turnover. In addition, there is a lack of accountability at higher levels, with tasks often pushed down without proper guidance or ownership. Some team leaders and managers delegate work without sufficient technical understanding, making it difficult for employees and new joiners to receive adequate support. Management is often focused on deadlines and frequent status meetings rather than providing practical solutions, process improvements, or technical guidance. This leaves employees to resolve issues independently, creating inefficiency and unnecessary pressure on the team.

Pros

The benefits were great although expensive. Lots of flexibility with your schedule for appointments. 2 days in office 3 days work from home. Good PTO and 401k was great.

Cons

There are a lot of great reasons to work for Kone but overall the environment isn't great. Management has their favorites so the employees that aren't within that circle are treated poorly to the point of quitting.
