1. Toxic Korean Working Culture - Koreans only works with Koreans, in the UK. - Only Korean looks work harder and having more workload. - This system problem, but they do not want to change (Every department). - They do not want to be localised, even though they are working at the UK. - They want to hire Korean or Korean speaking to do overtime, not local british. 2. HR is not trustable. - HR did set the wrong payband, so LG employees are getting relatively lower than market price. - Not sure HR did their best, but understand. They are powerless. Because all decision is made by CEO / CFO, they are clown. 3. Blame Culture from CFO organisation. - The worst thing is CFO organisation, they are saying only good things to CFO. - CFO believes what he heard from their side, but the problem is that his close Korean friends(team leaders) are incompetent. - Historically, the relationship btw CFO organisation and HR are making this result. - No cooperation, No support each other, so No trust each other. - Always they blame others. - Who wants to work as HR in this company? Always CFO and CFO organisation is blaming them. 4. Conclusion All workers leave with misunderstanding about Korean working culture. Please localise, not Korean working culture anymore. Blaming Culture could be a Korean working culture. Listen more from local British, not incompetent Korean Leader saying only good things. That is the reason why this company's working culture became like this. Everyone know why people is leaving.

Pros

LG used to be my dream job. 5 years ago, Every good part of LG ended. They preach all day about wellness, work life balance, and investing in their employees. And they used to do just that but not any more. Their 100% paid insurance is literally the only perk and its a trap.

Cons

They take motivated and competent individuals and shackle them with the workload of 5 or 6 people while telling them they aren't good enough, not doing enough, even though they are somehow finding a way to juggle all of the immense workload. PTO is a joke and no one respects it, they will call and ask you to work on your PTO, on weekends and at 10pm. They have no shame. The compensation is entirely below the bar even with 100% paid insurance. Promotions & Raises? Those only go to Koreans. Its gone so far down hill in the last 5 years. The culture in that office is so toxic but the job market is so restricted that you can't leave.
