I worked at LG Electronics full-time (More than 10 years)

    Pros

Cutting Edge Technology in the appliance field which makes the job interesting. Most appliances are energy efficient and water efficient so it lends itself to a planet friendly environment.

New management changed compensation to be based on profit rather than sales however costs of products are unclear and nebulous. Compensation structure became unclear and unfair. Lots of people leaving the company.

I worked at LG Electronics full-time (More than 3 years)

    Pros

    Cheap Korean Food for lunch

    Cons

They are wasting a lot of money in the San Diego office. Way too many people working on almost pointless things. Most of the hard work is done by the Qualcomm team. Some people are in charge of making the boss happy and washing his car. Some managers are extremely fake and lie a lot about everything, including personal and professional life. Leave ASAP. There is a reason why LG's mobile sector is failing - most of the job is done in HQ and upper management is just taking up all the money playing golf on Fridays while the company lays off hard working people.
