A great deal of autonomy is provided by senior management. Being an academic institute allows extensive opportunities to research and collaborate with high quality faculty.
Cons
Academic institutions are geared towards focusing mostly on the students and faculty. Staff generally play an administrative role, thus systems for managing staff and their work are not designed accordingly.
