Pros

- Very smart and hard working people - Good salary and benefits (compared across industries, not just pharma) - Global presence - Industry with high ethical requirements - Great opportunity to grow

Cons

- High workloads with limited capacity to improve (Six-sigma is a saying, not an action) - High management turn-over since results are required - Units function as distinct businesses without coordination and purpose - Very political and dis-functional communication among groups (if you can't find it on internal web, your left in the dark until someone points out what you didn't know) - Never seen or heard of movement between groups and locations except temporary assignments - Disjointed training unless directly related to your field (license and reg requirements)

Pros

It has taught me what I do not want in an employer It gave me experience for way better opportunities It made me realize that being a good worker doesn’t always mean being rewarded

Cons

When injured from being overworked and exhausted , they treated me like trash When compassion fatigue hit— they judged and questioned whether I belonged there rather than understood People make up rumors about you even if you didn’t do anything (it’s like a catty high school in there) Having one bad day constitutes you getting pulled in the office to be scolded If you’re a good worker, and you get your stuff done efficiently, they stuff you with more work Many individuals treat the animals like trash and are covered up by management if they are the “favorites” Most of the trainers there are absolutely catty people and will talk behind your back if you’re “too slow” or “not learning fast enough”
