Pros
The culture inherited pre-ipo is still live and kicking, a community, focused on providing safe spaces for each other and honing our craft
Cons
The culture created post-ipo is eating the pre-ipo culture alive. Many who cared about the experience of others have been let go due to strategic realignments, many of our experienced members have left soon after, and many who had to fill in the gaps were yet let go again for their lack of performance. This is leaving those scrambling to either work harder, or encourage those working underneath them harder. Those with lower levels of empathy always elevate the corporate ladder in this game. Nowadays the focus is the potential wealth we can accumulate and less on the emotional health of the employees.
