Pros

I loved my team. The people in my shop ended up becoming lifelong friends of mine. I would do anything for them and am so thankful for my time at Lush because of them. I also loved collaborating with the hiring team they were always so nice and so helpful. I had lots of fun at Lush in the beginning of my time there and I felt very passionate about my job.

Cons

The lack of communication between corporate and the retail team was infuriating. Whenever I did get the chance to communicate with someone in HR/communications, the team members were condescending and it seemed like they had no idea what it was like to actually be working in shop. I worked so hard until I felt like I had no support left from my higher ups who weren't in shop. Additionally, once you get to the store manager level its hard to see any clear path of growth to stay with the company. It truly felt like a dead end.

Pros

Discounts, we got 50% off of most items

Cons

Unhygienic, stressful, money hungry, fear monger. Unprofessional managers both as an employee and customer. Never experienced such low life conditions, manager brought in animal multiple times in store, and made staff clean its pee. Customers were floored, inexcusable and HR is unresponsive. The bathroom is disgusting, and inaccessible. I cannot imagine any one with a physical disability being able to use the restroom. It was so difficult to suck in your stomach, then trip on box after box. They BLOCK the fridge and made us put our food in our tiny lockers. Manager is too comfortable with the amount of time spent within the company to ever fear facing any consequences or repercussions. Even fired staff in the past for contacting HR for help.
