Pros
LyondellBasell is a large company with good resources and development opportunities. Lots of chances for newer engineers to rotate and see other processes and sites. Technology is interesting, company culture is positive and makes for a good work environment.
Cons
Company runs very lean and due to turnover of engineers there is a long backlog to work through. Some systems are clunky and difficult to work with which further slows speed down. Seems corporate puts less focus on manufacturing in recent years.
