Pros

• Great colleagues who are smart, talented, hard working, and fun; • A laid back and flexible work environment; • Free access to language learning; • Great product; • Good benefits (for singles) that are covered in full; • Flexible and ample paid time off.

Cons

• Inept and arrogant leadership, particularly 3 of 4 owners; • Consistently high turnover; • A culture that looks fun, but is handicapped by an undercurrent of fear; • Very limited growth opportunities for the majority of employees; • Few leaders or mentors at the company who can serve as role models; • Owners sitting in too many key positions: Visionary, Integrator, head of Product Development, head of HR, head of Marketing, etc. • Cult-like indoctrination of the core values (which is disturbing because the owners are the worst example of living the core values, especially when looking at integrity, positive attitude, and quality) • Lack of professionalism throughout the company.

Pros

There is a lot to like here. The people are supportive, collaborative, and invested in the company's success. The culture is built on trust and transparency. We work remotely with no micromanagement, expectations are high but reasonable, and the compensation and benefits are generous. The leadership team is what stands out most. They're hardworking and humble, engaged in the day-to-day, and approachable in a way that's rare at their level. I've felt valued since day one, and I'm proud of the products and their potential to enrich the lives of those we serve. In a decade across several employers, I haven't found anywhere close.

Cons

As with any smaller company, you'll sometimes have to take on a task that doesn't have an obvious home, and the pace can pick up during busier periods. But if you enjoy variety in your day, it's a great place to grow.
