Pros

Mazda struggles somewhat to recruit people in Germany due to the high level of interest of young graduates and professionals to join German leaders such as Daimler, BMW and Volkswagon. This means that you have slightly less resources at your disposal but potentially more opportunity to take on additional responsibilities earlier in your career.

Cons

The working culture tends to be Laissez-faire among many of the German employees, especially in the non-essential support functions. Often the managers are not sufficiently trained to develop their staff, which only exacerbates the clear lack of social competence that many of the employees exhibit. It seems that the financial limitations of the company has effected their staff development funds, which shows more often than one would like.
