Pros
Medifast encourages an atmosphere of learning and empowerment. The company concentrates on accountability over blame and hard work feels rewarded in positive results. Its a fun and friendly place with a beautiful headquarters building right in Harbor East. The problems I gets to solve at Medifast are usually new problems and I get to solve them along side intelligent and motivated coworkers.
Cons
You have to fight hard to get paid what you deserve. Medifast demands a very high standard of performance from employees, which can also be seen as a pro. The same high standard of performance that makes employees feel like part of a team and part of a purpose can also cause problems around work/life balance. Also, as a company that demands more from its employees than most other companies, I believe it should be willing to pay more for its employees than other companies.
