does not honor severance package benefit after merger - Anonymous employee Microchip Technology Employee Review

Microchip just got merged with Atmel. Completely disregarded severance benefit letters distributed to Atmel US employees. Employees are being laid off and not getting the packages that were promised to them based on the letters.
